Imaging Cardiologist
Dr Malcolm Davison is a Director of Queensland Cardiovascular Group and practices as a Consulting Cardiologist, with particular expertise and clinical interests in echocardiography, exercise stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography, coronary angiography and clinical cardiology.
Dr Davison graduated with honours from the University of Queensland Medical School in 1981, and following postgraduate training, undertook a Fellowship in Cardiac Ultrasound at the Cleveland Cardiac foundation in Cleveland, USA. Dr Davison has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians in Cardiology.
Dr Davison is recognised as a pioneer and expert in echocardiography, stress echocardiography and transoesophageal echocardiography, and under his direction, QCG has become a well-respected practice for these services. Dr Davison has significant background of expertise in teaching and research and is actively involved in continuing professional education for GPs and cardiac health professionals.
