Cardiac Electrophysiologist
Dr Michael Adsett is a Director of the Queensland Cardiovascular Group and specialises in cardiac electrophysiology. His clinical interests include cardiac electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker implantation, including biventricular pacemaker implantation, automatic implantable defibrillators and is an expert in general arrhythmia management.
Dr Adsett was awarded first class honours as a graduate of the University of Queensland in Medicine, and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in cardiology. After obtaining his postgraduate qualifications, Dr Adsett undertook advanced training at the St Andrew's Heart Institute, training in cardiac electrophysiology procedures under the supervision of Dr Wayne Stafford and Dr John Hayes.
Dr Adsett's research and training interests include demonstration and training in cardiac device implantation.
