Dr Kylie Burns is an Associate with Queensland Cardiovascular Group, and practices as a Consultant Cardiologist. Her expertise are in Congenital Heart Disease and Cardiac Imaging, including echocardiography and stress echocardiography. She also has special interests in obstetric cardiology.
Dr Burns gained her FRACP (Cardiology) in 2013. She completed her two year fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease at The Prince Charles Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Cardiac Imaging at The Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, during which time she gained extensive experience in obstetric cardiology.
Dr Burns has worked extensively throughout rural Queensland, providing essential health services to remote areas. She found this experience to be very rewarding, and saw her provide a wide variety of medical services and treat a broad scope of illnesses.
Dr Burns is committed to providing the highest standard of care to all her patients and making a substantial difference to their overall health.
