Heart of Australia

Heart of Australia is an innovative program delivering valuable specialist medical care to regional, rural and remote communities across Queensland. It is a mobile service providing investigation and treatment clinics within a customised road train – the first of its kind in Australia.

Our cardiologists visit remote communities on a monthly basis, including Roma, Charleville, Emerald, Longreach and Barcaldine. Our aim is to provide cardiac care to those patients who would otherwise have to travel vast distances to receive treatment.
